Dr. Ronda Green, a long time supporter of bird watching in Eagleby surveyed the area and wrote a report supporting the conservation of Eagleby and its surrounding wetlands.She believes this area is very special because of its proximity to major urban centres.
SUPPORT FROM BIRDLIFE SOUTHERN QUEENSLAND
A Latham Snipe survey was conducted during which 22 Snipes were sighted in a four hour period.
